Bengt Wagner is a fencing champion and a physics major at State University. He started fencing at the age of 10, when he joined the Boston Fencing Club. He attended Boston Latin School, where he excelled academically and athletically. He won several state and regional titles in foil and epee, and was recruited by State University on a full scholarship.
At State University, he continued to dominate the fencing scene, winning the NCAA Fencing Championship in his sophomore year. He also qualified for the Olympic team, representing the United States in the 2024 Summer Games in Paris. He prepared for the Olympics by training intensively with his coach and teammates, studying his opponents' strategies, and maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle. He won the gold medal in the individual epee event, defeating his rival from France in a thrilling final.

Bengt is not only a talented fencer, but also a brilliant student. He is majoring in physics, with a focus on quantum mechanics and cosmology. He plans to pursue a PhD in physics after graduating from State University
Bengt is the eldest of two brothers. His younger brother, Lars, is also a fencer and a student at Boston Latin School. Bengt is very close to his family and often visits them in Boston. He enjoys reading, playing chess, and listening to classical music in his spare time.
